With almost 1500 new houses being approved in Shavington-cum-Gresty since 2010, the planning department at Cheshire East believe Shavington is in need of more houses.

Shavington-cum-Gresty Parish Council have reviewed the plans and have strongly objected to them. The Parish Council have also heard from many residents who believe Shavington doesn’t have the infrastructure to support even more houses.

The decision will be made by Cheshire East Councillors at a planning meeting on Wednesday 1st November.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting which starts at 10am at the Council Chamber, Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe CW1 2BJ.
