Best Dressed House at Christmas: Competition
Are your decorations up yet? Our photographer, Nicola Cooper, will be taking photos of your festive houses so we can share them with the Shavington Online community.
Details of the Competition
Why not decorate the outside of your house for Christmas and win our Best Dressed House at Christmas competition?
Members of the Environment Committee will be judging between 10th and 22nd of December.
No advance entry is required but to highlight your house to the judges, and in the event of you not being able to decorate your house by 10 December 2017, please e-mail the Clerk on carol.jones57@outlook.com
The judging will be based on the following criteria:
- Houses must be within the parish of Shavington-cum-Gresty
- Festivity
- Originality
First Prize: £50
Second Prize: £30
The winning entries will be reported to the Parish Council meeting on 3 January 2018 and will be published in the next newsletter, together with a photograph of the winning house.
To avoid a conflict of interest, Parish Councillors’ homes are excluded from the competition.
