Clean Team: Saturday 15th July

Can you spare an hour to help tidy up Shavington-cum-Gresty?

Shavington-cum-Gresty Parish Council ran their first Clean Team event on Saturday 6th May where people from the community came along to help tidy up some of the key streets in Shavington. Armed with litter pickers, high-vis jackets, bin bags and gloves we focused our efforts on removing litter from pavements and hedges.

The next Clean Team event will be on Saturday 15th July where our focus will be primarily on Wessex Close Park. With the introduction of new play equipment, now is a great time to make sure the park is in tip-top shape for the young people who are using it during the light summer evenings.

You don’t need to bring anything — except your friends and family! :)
