The Shavington Online team and the Parish Council are running a Halloween competition this year, designed to encourage families to bring out their children and judge the many houses we hope to have decorated in the Parish. Read on to find out more about the competition and how you can get involved.
Competition Information
Enter this scarily good competition this Halloween by decorating your house for the chance to win £50 (first prize) or £30 (second prize).
Let’s spell out how you can take part:
- Decide how you want to decorate your spooky Halloween house
- Register your house in the competition so it can be in for a chance to win
- Get decorating your house so judges can cast their eyes over it and vote

Registration forms are at the back of the Autumn Newsletter or you can register online here. Deadline to register is 19 October.
Want to be a judge?
If you would like to take part in the judging, then a map and judging form will be available from around the 26 October. The forms will be outside the entrance to Shavington-cum-Gresty Village Hall and here online — look out for them! Voting closes 5pm on 2 November.
