Shavington ‘Clean Team’

Shavington-cum-Gresty Parish Council ran their first ‘Clean Team’ event on Saturday 6th May.

Shavington Parish Council ran their first “Clean Team” event today, with the aim of improving the Parish. 10 volunteers turned up to help litter pick key areas including Wessex Close Park, which has recently been refurbished by Cheshire East Council.

It is the start of a new initiative headed up by Councillor Rene Hancock to tidy up the Parish, which we hope to see continue in the near future.
