Shavington Clean Team: Litter picking across the Parish

A big thank you to the 14 members of the public who gave up an hour of their Saturday morning to help litter pick around the Parish.

On Saturday 11th November, Shavington Clean Team met up again to tidy up areas of the Parish. We were pleased to note that although we did pick up litter, most areas were fairly litter free! :)

It was also great to see our team of volunteers wearing their ‘Shavington Clean Team’ high-vis waistcoats — they certainly attracted some attention on the streets and we hope this may raise awareness of the Clean Team and encourage other people to join us in the future.
