I am an Indian and let me be honest about it — I don’t adore Mahatma Gandhi, the way the rest of the world does, and I have my reasons behind it.

If you read Indian textbooks, or Indian history and politics, Mohandas Gandhi is considered as a prominent figure, and independence of India from the British Regime, is also credited to him, to a great extent.

But those textbooks are highly manipulative, twisted and changed to an extent, that they have shown Gandhi as the greatest figure in the history of India, and other freedom fighters as merely side-heroes.

While the reality was completely opposite. No doubt, Gandhi gave the message of peace and non-violence to the world, but there are several facts about him, that will force you to re-think about everything you have been believing in.
