I walked into a cafe that looked unlike any other cafe I had visited.

Endless Moroccan lamps hanging from the ceiling, and strategically placed mirrors reflecting the lamps gives you an awe moment upon first stepping in to Lost in Amsterdam.

The bar was just gleaming with sparkling glasses hanging from the ceiling wine rack with brass and rich wood everywhere.

Candles provided an extra welcoming warmth.

I grabbed a U-shaped booth table covered in Moroccan cushions with lanterns and candles behind me. Even the ashtray next to the candle illuminated an exotic glow on my table.

I was travelling alone to Amsterdam, and I sat across from the bar to not feel so awkward. Besides it’s was such a stunning vibe that I could spend hours just relaxing in that comfortable booth.

I ordered my drink, an amazing margarita, although they are famous for their milkshakes, with and without alcohol.
