Why the Rowe Needs Meeting Room Digital Signage
Dalhousie has around 18,700 students and if you are one of those students you know how difficult it is to find a spot to study during exams, work on group projects, practice presentations, and more.
And if you’re in business at Dal you know how hard it is to get a spot at The Rowe. If you don’t go to Dal The Rowe is one of the newer and nicer buildings on campus, it has lots of rooms and is full of natural light. It’s a great place to do work for business students because it’s right by all their classes. The problem is there are roughly 6 breakout rooms, one “lounge” (with very uncomfortable chairs) and a sitting area on the main floor.
As a student I find it is a constant struggle to find somewhere to work in the Rowe. It’s really either the main floor which can be very loud and busy, you can try your luck with a breakout room, or you can set up in a classroom but you risk being kicked out if a class is starting.
I have an idea though. You can read about it here.
