Both UoS and Hallam EU students/staff invited

Five months into the post-Brexit era and we still do not know what ‘Brexit means Brexit’ actually means. Yet, we still need to prepare for what it May mean (pun intended). Hence, we are putting up an event for students and staff to understand more about their rights in this country.

On Tuesday 6th December 2016 at 1pm in Studio, Level 2, Student Union Building, we will have a talk for The University of Sheffield & Sheffield Hallam University students and staff on the implications of BREXIT on their study/ work. The one hour talk provided by respected immigration lawyer Chris Cole and Senior Immigration Caseworker Jo Holliday from Parker Rhodes & Hickmott Solicitors will be followed by a question and answer session.

There will also be a limited number of free one to one 15 minute advice sessions available following the talk, you can book an advice session by emailing advice@sheffield.ac.uk with subject EU advice request 6.12.16 , these sessions will be held in the Student Advice Centre and are suitable for people who are considering applying for permanent residence.

Please spread the word!
