The celebration to us is the sign of the work ahead.

This international women’s day, gave us a lot to think about. One is, we can’t speak of the future while the present is the one that creates the future. So we are learning from the past and working on the present in an effort to shape the future.

For those who do not know who SheFound is, we are a non-profit working to elevate poverty in Africa starting with Tanzania through supporting women entrepreneurs and women-led businesses and drip it down to interventions that support women and girls in our communities.

Collaboration has been a great impact power behind our work. While we do not provide financial support, we work with partners to do provide or can connect our entrepreneurs with investors and funding opportunities. And we create platforms that link them to potentials.

Similarly, when it comes to market access, we provide the technical support for the entrepreneurs to easily grow their market size and depend on partnerships for our entrepreneurs to explore other markets. Some great exciting news coming up ahead.

Each motherboard at SheFound from the SheFound Business Hub, to the Female Founders Marketplace,to the SheFound Labs answers to the same vision of elevating poverty and guaranteeing the future focusing on 50% of the population through entrepreneurship and piggybacking on technology.

The unique motherboard of SheFound is the Interventions part. It is the bone marrow of SheFound because we tackle specific issues in our communities directly. This is the part of SheFound we are looking to even further push in 2022.

As part of celebrating girls and women in our community and pushing ahead for the future, we will soon announce our interventions and call upon partners to join us in improving the present and shaping the future. Stay Tuned!

Happy International Women’s Month. :)
