ShelterBox Canada Executive Director, Stephanie Christensen, has been deployed to the Philippines.
She will be joining a ShelterBox Response Team as they meet with families who received essential aid items this past January during our response to devastating tropical storms.
Tropical Storms Kai-tak and Tembin tore through the Philippines in December, forcing over 70,000 people from their homes.
With the help from you, the Rotary Club of Biliran Island and other Rotarians in the Philippines, we’ve distributed shelter materials to over 900 families alongside solar lights, water carriers, mosquito nets and blankets.
