You are not God

But you are His Kingdom

A spark of the Divine enlightens you

And is inherent to who you are

I am not God

But I do create

I create meaning

I choose my beliefs

I live a life no one else can

Like you live a life no one else can

We create who we are

What we like

What we don’t like

What we grow to like

Who we grow to be

Nothing in life is fair

Because there is a Grace that gives us more than we earn

We have so much untapped power to be peace

Yet in all our failures God’s power still meets us

Showing us more kindness whether we notice it or not

We live in a distorted world

Where the shadow of a very small thing

Can leave our hearts dark and trembling

But if we were to be a little more light

We would see that shadow is just a distortion

That is cast from a very small thing

Buddhism tells me Fear is a construct

A man made choice I built in my mind

A personal choice we each make

In order to fail in the most painful way

But after you fail

You achieve in hindsight

And you never have to fail that way again

Love is not a construct

It is our natural home

Where we fit and where we prosper

We don’t have to build it

It is who we are

Before we existed we were loved

Imagined by God and chosen to exist
