On Saturday, March 14, a steam locomotive stopped at the train depot on the way to the Irish Festival in Clare. Passengers disembarked, and then the train backed up and approached the train depot a second time so that everyone would have an opportunity to photograph or film it.

By eleven o’clock there was already a large crowd waiting for the train to arrive. Several kids played around on the train engine, the caboose, and the box car which sit in front of the train depot.

Finally, the locomotive pulled up to the station, huge puffs of steam pouring out the top and sides and it blew its whistle. Everyone watched it slow to a stop.
