HealthTech Company Medopad to expand into the US with Acquisition of Health AI startup, Sherbit

Medopad, the UK HealthTech company aiming to extend the lives of 1 billion people worldwide, has today announced its first acquisition as it accelerates its expansion into the US.

The company, which was named as a $1billion HealthTech business in the making by KPMG, has acquired Sherbit, a Silicon Valley AI startup that works with the largest US healthcare systems to improve chronic disease patient care. Medopad’s unique technology connects patients with health-care professionals, allowing them to analyze a patient’s data and detect life-threatening medical conditions.

It works with Royal Free London, Guy’s and St Thomas’, Bart’s, Chelsea & Westminster in the UK and is working on projects in counties including China, Germany, and Singapore. Medopad partners with the world’s largest healthcare systems, pharma companies and technology companies such as Apple and Tencent to solve some of the biggest problems in rare, chronic and complex disease monitoring.
