Hey @flinto, we need to talk.
Dear Flinto,
thanks for giving me such a great tool! I used to work with other prototyping tools before, but your native Mac App completely changed my workflow and efficiency.
Being able to work with every single layer and to create individual transitions is fantastic, especially because you made it freakin’ easy. You made it so easy — sometimes I just play around for fun by creating one transition after another, even if I do not have a specific project I’m working on.
But there are a few things that would make you so much better …
1. Real scroll animations
Creating interactive prototypes is not always just about switching around between different screens, lots of products need far more to give an impression of their experience.
So please, please, add scroll animations to Flinto so we can work even better together.
2. Previewing files via USB
Unfortunately the network in the company I work with completely blocks bonjour services.
Using Flinto at work for me means:
- Disconnect from the company network
- Connect my iPhone and create a personal hot spot (because I still need internet ;) )
- Connect with the Flinto app
If you consider optimizing your preview features, please make it possible to connect via USB.
Last but not least — 3. Let there be SYNC
To be honest — yes, you guys made it really easy to work with Flinto — but the biggest challenge working with it, is when there are changes in my Sketch source file.
Exporting files from Sketch to Flinto works seamlessly, but everytime I change stuff, I have to import them manually to Flinto. I know, it could be worse, but having my Sketch files permanently observed and synced would be the best feature that can happen to Flinto.
