Raise your hand if you make mistakes

How can you be more accepting to other people?

Make mistakes.

But, why would I even think of that question?

Have you ever felt that there are some people whom you consider easier to talk to? Some people who you can confide in? Some people who you wouldn’t be afraid to tell your mistakes to? Some people who won’t judge you? Some people who would encourage you to give it a try? Who would tell you so what?

I can’t help but notice that some people are easier to talk to. You would have the deepest conversations even without knowing them that well.

These people are not the saints of the society. They are the ones that did many mistakes. They are the ones who went through hard-times and then got out of them. They are the ones who aren’t afraid to make more mistakes. They are willing to make more of them, but aren’t willing to repeat the same old ones.

Being accepting to other people is a byproduct of making mistakes. You end up not judging. At the end of the day, you did many mistakes. Some you regret and some you are happy to make more of them. Some you never thought you would do. Mistakes make us more humble, they make us easier to talk to, they make us human. To the many mistakes that we have done and the many others that are yet to come, may we never stop making mistakes.
