When the Shipitwise team came out with its idea in autumn 2015, we did not see much of what the company’s journey would be like and where we just got out in a couple of years.

Our question was: “Why SMEs (small and medium enterprises) still lack an access to an easy and affordable logistics like 2000 years ago?” Paraphrasing this issue from the basis of today’s experiences, I ask the following: “Why carriers are not able to offer the universal automated price calculators for the international market through which small businesses can grow their turnover and visibility in the global market without having to spend a fortune for shipping?”

Today we have been able to answer this question ourselves. We also offer a solution to the problem. For two years, we have tested various tools, tested various markets, offered special types of transportation management services and advanced customer service for both SMEs and individuals. As a result of these operations, we have gathered a unique set of information from thousands of requests all over the world, implemented in-depth analysis, mapped, measured, improved software, and then measured and tested again. As a result of these actions, a SaaS (software-as-a-service) software package has been completed. It offers a new type of universal environment and capabilities for both, transport companies and their customers.
