Busy is the new stupid. Running a business 24/7 or working around the clock are not the things that one remembers. Only true workaholics will share office pics on Instagram to their brothers in arms. Who would share or like this kind of photos? Who would remember these moments tomorrow?

Technology has changed the concepts of work, recreation and travel. And it’s a beginning of the bigger change. The perception and borders between working and personal life have shifted.

Millennials choose the remote work and their pictures on Instagram are way different! This shift affects most of the active members of our society.

Let’s assume that you are a group of 4 friends or two couples planning a summer escape within Europe. You might live in Riga, Vilnius or Tallinn. You love Italian food, beautiful hills, amazing lakes. La Dolce Vita attracts you. You already see yourself biking around, collecting the breathtaking moments here and there.

You have found yourself a beautiful Airbnb home or an amazing deal on Momondo. The direct flight by Ryanair from Riga to Bergamo (Milano) for all 4 of you with the return ticket is only €680 or less. With 8 kg of baggage allowance. Taking your bicycles with you would cost €480 for two ways. Well, it’s not cheap, but acceptable. If only there would not be a hassle getting these bicycles to the airport. Hoping that they will not exceed the allowed size and weight. Getting them from the destination airport to your villa in Como is the second hassle. And as a cherry on the cake of your travel experience, you need to hassle your way back. It’s like a rewinding the horror movie after watching a beautiful romantic love story.

Can you avoid it? Yes, you can. But how?!

By sending four bicycles from your doorstep in Riga for example straight to your host in Italy. With Shipitwise “Hands-Free-Travel” service this will only cost you €308. Door to door. Finito. The process is very simple. You go to Shipitwise.com website, choose a pictogram of the bicycle, add as many items as you wish. You may also want to send some suitcases and travel super-light. With your smartphone and credit card. Courier will collect your equipment from home a few days earlier. It will travel separately from you and will wait for your group to arrive. The same process will happen on the way back.

Some ideas for the budget of one week super-light trip to Como, Italy for 4 people:
- two ways flight €680
- two ways shipping €308
- accommodation near lake Como for 7 nights €929
- nice Italian food €700
- bus to your Airbnb €20
- car rental €0,00 as you have bicycles
- fee for amazing experience €0,00
- fast internet connection €0,00
- 300 hi-res photos on Instagram and Pinterest €0,00

Total expenses €99 per day per person. This is what I call a smart way to see the world. And I guess as a nomad you make more than €200 per every marketing article you create. This experience will inspire you much more than the rain and fog outside your office window.
