England: Virginia Waters

Another Harry Potter filming location near London is Virginia Waters. It is one of the lakes used as Hogwarts lake.. and this is where the triwizard tournament happened and I think this is also used for when Harry rode Buckbeak.

Besides that, the lake is visited by lots of families with their docs and picnic foods and overall the perfect family life picture is here.

Theres a cafe & bathrooms here, too! And the walk from the station to the park is a fall color extravaganza and you can get all the acorns and chestnuts you want!
