We clearly aren’t pro travelers, because we forgot about winter. So we of course forgot to check if Mt. Rainier and Mt. st. Helens would be viewable during this time! We gave up on seeing Mt. Rainier because it was too snowy, and I didn’t feel that our van could make it up the hills without any chains..

But we did get some fantatsic pictures and saw naturey stuff.

St. Helens was also closed, but we could see it from the distance!

We drove to Portland at night and met up with David Wang (one of my frosh!) who lives in Beaverton. We tried some sizchuan food, and it wasnt as bad as David Cheng built it up to be!

We hit up the voodoo doughnuts in Portland (open 24 hours) and got some whack doughnuts and enjoyed it while stargazing.
