Rome was a severely disappointing city. Not because there wasn’t enough to see, but there were just so many tourists and people in general. And the whole city, compared to Florence was severely uninviting.
Cinque Terre means five lands. This area is composed of five different cities built on the western coast of Italy. The beauty of the region is the colorful building villages on the very edge of the coasts. I stayed in the middle of the five cities: Corniglia.

On my last day, I rented a bike from my hostel to ride early in the morning to see the sunrise at the Piazza Michaelangelo. Although I was told that it would rain, I got extremely lucky and the sky was a pretty pattern of clouds.

Like always, I woke up super early to see the sunrise in Florence. I have three full days here, and I wanted to make the most of it. I’ve be interested in art for a bit (not that I know much) so this city was what I was looking forward to the most!
I was supposed to arrive in Florence at around 6PM, but arrived here at 10 PM because I took the train all the way to Rome instead of getting off at Florence. Don’t do that, kids.
