Startup Showcase : India
Capturing the interest of the Indian consumer market is always a challenge and bringing technology as an agent is the first step towards reaching the many internet users.
This is what we have witnessed on June 25th. We had 6 spectacular startups (short listed from over 50 applications). The pitch event was co-hosted by Shogun Capital & 1000 Startups — an initiative by NASSCOM.
For many days, both organizers scrambled calls and brainstormed through chats to ensure that we bring the best outcome from the event. Fortunately, the startups were great and the investor attendees were equally happy to find founders with the will to build a company while the company’s economics were splendid for the tough 16 months we have all gone through. Hopefully startups get their funding soon !fingers crossed !
The interactions with the startups has only reinforced our hope and goals.
