Behind The Scenes : Thursday June 16, 2016

Sometimes it takes a little convincing to step out of your comfort zone and do something you wouldn’t normally think to do. That just happened to be the case for Ali who wasn’t sold on the idea of maternity photos until her good friend purchased a session for her as a gift.

True, you may never blow one of these images up to be proudly displayed in your home, but having photos of this very special milestone could prove to be a comfort or a way to fondly look back on the growth and development of your life and that of your babe long after they’re born.

Perhaps some of the hesitation stemmed from having to be in front of the camera alone at the beginning of the shoot (it’s never easy to pose solo — even when you’re glowing and gorgeous), but things definitely started to flow once we added Jimmy (her adorable rescue pup) and Matt into the mix.

All in all, it was a great day and I’m really happy with photos we ended up with. Little babe, you’re coming into a warm, loving home and I wish you and your family nothing but happiness. Congrats again Ali and Matt! Now on to the photos! :)
