Design thinking, such as logical deduction, analytical thinking, problem-solving, is one of the key assets we scout for in potential candidates. We are keen to see how well you define, analyse, and breakdown problems, target users and market and derive a practical solution.
2. Other Supplementary Skills
Apart from demonstrating impeccable interaction and visual design skills, our hiring managers also look out for additional skills that could enhance the team’s core function and productivity. Skills such as project management, motion graphics, prototyping, etc. will set you apart from other candidates.
3. Humility and Hunger for Knowledge
Demonstrating enthusiasm to rack up as much knowledge as you can across a broad range of topics is another quality we observe when shortlisting candidates. When you show humility and an eagerness to learn, it displays your seriousness about taking your skills and career to the next level.
4. Self-Confidence
Projecting confidence can be just as important as demonstrating your skills and unique qualifications. Confidence is the act of trusting yourself, which can lead to your interviewer trusting in you, too, as it communicates to them that you know you can do this job well.
5. Culture Fit
Your CV is great for outlining your skills and experience, but our managers also take into consideration a candidate’s potential integrability in the team, as it provides a good measure on how well you can fit into the team culture. That’s not to say that you should try to change yourself to get hired. Instead, be your best self and let your most outstanding traits shine.
