We all had goals and expectations for the show this year, but did SuperZoo 2018 live up to them? Below are a few things that were great, along with a couple pain points.

Logging Orders

Received orders at the show? Great! However, staying up late typing out written orders is a morale killer and robs you of that extra hour with those heavenly hotel pillows. While it seems like a necessary evil, it doesn’t have to be. Why not use an iPad to log orders? This makes the entire process digital, from the first interaction with the retailer to you logging the order. No more papers, printing, or late nights. That’s exactly what our Merchant tool does and it’s free to use any trade show you go to. You can find your personalized one in your account. Now you can say “Remember when we used to stay up till 2am logging these one by one?”…

Booth Traffic

The real estate surrounding the New Product Showcase was an absolute winner with consistent foot traffic all three days. However, many booths outside of this section found far less visitors perusing the lanes.

If SuperZoo is proving to be a show driven by new product intrigue it may have to assess its layout and how the show is explored. In an attempt to promote circulation throughout the floor, perhaps two new product showcases are needed — one in the 300 section and one in it’s original location?

Manufacturers, does this influence you booth choice next year?
Retailers, what drove you to SuperZoo this year?
