Who doesn’t love a home-cooked meal? Especially breakfast in bed! Want to keep it simple? These 5-ingredient recipes are sure to make Mom’s morning memorable.
French toast with fresh fruit
What you’ll need:
- Bread
- ¼ cup of milk
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- Berries
- Preparation: Beat egg, milk, and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl. Dip each slice of bread in the mixture so that both sides are soaked evenly. Cook both sides until both sides are slightly brown.
Veggie Omelette
What you’ll need
- 2 eggs
- 1 tomato
- ½ bell pepper
- ½ onions
- ½ cup of cheese (optional)
- Preparation: Saute veggies and set aside. Beat eggs in a small bowl until fully blended. Coat pan with nonstick cooking spray or butter and pour egg mixture into the heated pan. Cook until the bottom of the egg mixture is set. Push the cooked portions towards the center of the pan until the top of the egg mixture is no longer runny. Place your veggies and cheese onto one half of the egg surface, so that you can fold your omelette in half. Ready to serve!
