Whether you’re hiking a trail or setting up at a music festival, your campsite should feel like a second home. Make the most of it with a camp kitchen that’s equipped to provide a taste of the ordinary.

Camp Stove

Not all campsites allow open flame; cook without building a campfire by bringing along a portable camp stove. Whether it’s wood burning or powered by propane, a camp stove gives you a contained heat source with which to work your forest chef magic.

Cast Iron Skillet

If you’re pulling up to your campsite rather than trekking the Appalachian Trail, a deep cast iron skillet is an absolute must-have. Cast iron cookware is damn near indestructible and doesn’t require washing; when you’re finished cooking, simply scrub away any chunks of food with water and rub the interior surface with a little olive oil.

Grill

If you want to cook over an open flame, a sturdy, heat distributing surface is non-negotiable. Cook vegetables and meat by setting them directly on the grill, or use it as a level platform to prop up other cookware like pots, pans and kettles.

Durable Kettle

Depending on your destination, it’s likely that you’re going to need to boil water. Bring along a purpose-built kettle that can withstand an open flame, and you’ll always have safe, sanitized water at your fingertips.
