So you’ve just returned from a festival with an armful of posters and prints in tow — now what? Display those suckers like a pro with our four recommended ways to do up your living space with your favorite works of art.

Stick ‘em

No need to be fancy. One of the best and easiest ways to get those posters, pamphlets and postcards on the wall is with good ol’ fashioned tape. That said, be smart about it. Double-sided, wall-safe poster tape will keep things nice and secure without risking your security deposit.

Frame ‘em

A little extra money put into your decorating projects will go a long way, especially if you have the time and energy to source inexpensive second-hand frames from thrift stores and yard sales. Frame your favorite pieces for an instant boost to your home that puts your #adulting skills on full display.

Floor ‘em

If your minimalist room feels echoey and empty, try snapping a few larger pieces into floating frames and leaning them against a wall. The trick to this is to make it look deliberate — place them next to large potted plants in otherwise empty corners where they’re not hiding behind anything. Skip this method if your ceilings are abnormally high — you don’t want your room to feel too bottom-heavy.

Hang ‘em

For unexpected lightness in your decorating scheme, hang your favorite prints from a wide wooden clip frame. Providing a casually elegant display setting for your favorite works of art, clip frames aren’t suited to humid conditions, where moisture in the air can cause curling and warping.
