Ravel, Ravel, You’ve Done Your Best🎵
Ravel, ravel, you passed the test
Ravel, ravel, you love to sew
Cold knights, unraveled. No!
A few things occurred to me while reading Peculiar Julia’s poetry prompt below.
First of all ‘ravel’ and ‘unravel’ have the same meaning. I don’t remember what other words this works for. I should not have ended that last sentence with a preposition, but ‘for which this does worketh’ sounds ostentatious.
Do ‘travel’ and ‘untravel’ mean the same thing? Cough and Uncough?
The second thing is the Deluded Custodians prompt for May is “music”. “Knights in White Satin” came to mind through a typo. Satin ravels, unravels, frays and unphrase.
“No!” is from “The Scream” painting by Norwegian artist, Edvard Munch. I had just read this inspirational essay by Guillaume Dubé.
I also enjoyed R C Hammond’s essay about Finn’s trip to Norway this morning. Lucky dog. Lucy Furr and Ziggy Bear want to go.
