A simple rundown on the new Copilot GPT Builder

Microsoft very recently released the ability for pro users of Copilot to build their own custom Copilot GPT’s. This allows you to create your own assistants similar to ChatGPT’s GPT assistants. There are similar settings and approaches to setting up Copilot GPT’s as there are in ChatGPT. In this article I want to go through what it's like to setup a GPT, some ideas on tools you can build with Copilot GPTs and some comments along the way based on notes Microsoft has made in their docs and release notes about Copilot GPTs.
Its important to note despite the naming convention, Copilot GPT’s do not get published or cross over to the ChatGPT store at all; Copilot and ChatGPT are separate.
Configuring a Copilot GPT
To create a new GPT, look on the right hand side of Copilot for the GPT list. There are other GPT’s from Microsoft here that are specialized towards a few tasks that have their own instruction prompts and copilot plugins turned on.
