Art stared at the screen. He felt the thud of the countdown timer tick towards zero. Butterflies gnawed at his stomach.

He couldn’t decide what was more anxiety-provoking:

1. Giving a presentation to a large audience
2. Going for a job interview
3. Going on a date, or
4. All of the above.

Just before the timer reached zero, Art clicked on Number 4.

Of course each of the options was anxiety-provoking. But he just couldn’t decide which one was the most anxiety-provoking.

The screen changed and said, “Thank you for completing this 20-item questionnaire. The results indicate that you have a 95% probability of being indecisive.”

Well, that was no surprise.

Art knew he had trouble making decisions.

Later that day, Art went to his local deli.

He was almost paralyzed when he learned they ran out of his favorite peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

“What do you mean you’ve run out?” Art said to Minnie, the girl behind the counter.
