Short Shots City

Sunday morning.

It’s 9am. Brother comes over. Drunk already. Brings his dog.

He’s the sweetest dog. My brother treats him well.

He’s ranting. I’m getting ready for work. I make coffee. I only have enough beans for one cup. I make a cup for him.

I start my car. It’s 8 degrees outside so I’m letting it warm up. I come back in.

It smells like vodka. He’s spilled the coffee. I turn the T.V. on and brush my teeth.

I leave for work.

Sunday morning.
