This was my first attempt at a Sci Fi short story. I wasn’t super happy with the results and I don’t think I ever submitted it to any literary journals. I found it in an old file when I joined Medium in 2017, re-worked it and submitted it to The Junction. They were kind enough to publish it. Enjoy!
