Today I read the best piece of writing advice. It’s not disheartening; it’s motivational.
Ayodeji Awosika said in his recent article, “How to Become One of the Rare Writers Who Actually Makes Money,”
They don’t want to do what’s required to make a living from their writing.
And what’s required? A whole lot of work and perpetual learning about things like marketing, selling, promoting, and more.
Best sellers like Jennifer Weiner have people to promote her books. You and I don’t. We need to be our own promoters.
