“Thank you!” International Day

Believe it or not, the 11th of January is the international Thank you! day, its origin is a bit lost in history, but I will try to summarise a bit from my research.

Apparently, it all began with a message. Beginning in the 1400s, sending greetings to friends and family became a common custom. Greeting cards were initially exchanged between family members and friends by Europeans.
