We’re so excited to use this platform as a resource for you: hair professionals and regular folks alike! This content will help you master your grooming and lifestyle needs — from hair, to skin, style, technology and entrepreneurship, we’ve got you covered.
First, a little about us! We run an app that connects you with barbers and hairstylists when you need a cut. We send a hair professional to you — wherever you are, conveniently scheduled at a time that’s good for you.
We started Shortcut because of a convenience problem. Ever tried booking a haircut appointment online? It’s not the easiest, with only 8% of barbershops utilizing online booking. So you go in blind because you haven’t seen your barber’s work or reviews… then arrive somewhere across town, only to wait.
Shops also don’t have flexible enough hours to meet the demands of modern life, relegating many of us to getting haircuts only on weekends or taking half a day off in the middle of the work week. It’s an archaic system that we felt needed a solution. Ours was a no-brainer and now people feel it’s a better way, vowing never to go back to the traditional way of getting a cut.
With technology bringing convenience to every service sector, we aim to do our part with world-class scheduling & location technology in a beautifully designed app that brings a bespoke experience to our users.
We have options for everyone and cater to every kind of look. You can choose from our diverse and talented team of barbers and hairstylists, to get the perfect haircut for you. We’re not defined or confined by the stereotypes of a traditional shop, urban shop, edgy rock n roll shop, or boutiquey salon. We leave the vibe to you.
We’re not only running an innovative service, but we’re looking to empower barbers like never before. Our barbers’ professional development is a high priority for us (that’s part of the reason we’re starting this publication), plus we figure all barbers could gain something from these articles.
We aim to give barbers the freedom to do what they love, when they want, and a big part of that is giving them the opportunity to grow.
We’ve delivered thousands of cuts in homes, offices, hotels and plenty of places in between. From coast to coast, all of our users love the zero hassle and maximum comfort approach of our service. And our barbers love working on their own terms and cutting their way around their cities.
