Chuck E. Fucking Cheese. The restaurant and arcade chain have entertained three generations of kids. Most, if not all, of Gen-X and Gen-Z, remember getting their fingers greasy after eating pizza to play Arctic Thunder until the coins ran out.

Over time, Chuck E. Cheese will lose dominance in the restaurant and arcade business but will leave its mark on pop culture. The animatronics created by Chuck E. Cheese inspired other media (e.g., Five Nights At Freddy’s)

Because of its popularity, Chuck E. Cheese also produced merchandise, including lunch boxes, party decorations, and toys. We remember these items fondly. What people don’t remember, however, is the movie they made in the late ‘90s.

Chuck E. Cheese in the Galaxy 5000 is a straight-to-VHS movie produced by Chuck E. Cheese (CEC) Entertainment and released by FUNimation. For those unfamiliar with FUNimation, they made the dubbed and subtitled versions of popular anime, Dragon Ball Z and One Piece.

CEC Entertainment influenced the movie with anime themes. Galaxy 5000 is more than a promotion. CEC has made a ridiculous and silly movie.
