As I entered college, I realized that there were many people out there with so many ideas and views of everything. Except, I saw plentiful people whom were stuck with their stubbornness of their ideas being the best and the refusal for acceptation. I realized that if I kept that same sort of viewpoint, I was not going to get very far with my mental growth as someone interested in the business industry. As a result, I decided that I wanted to be different. After self-reflections, an idea popped up into my head: Why don’t I try to view ideas with the pros, cons, what I can do, what other people think, and see what type of path each one might lead to?. Sometimes my opinions aren’t the best and the first step to accepting that was to accepting other peoples’ viewpoints and adapting from it.

I began to train myself to learning to accept and adapt by moving forward each road block I had with questions. I would always have my original idea in the sideline but before that I ask myself what would someone do or how would they feel if I did this or I did something else. I tried to consider the other person’s opinions and by adjusting to those different situations, I mentally felt stronger. I felt a lot more composed when issues came up and I started imagining all of the possibilities that could come out of all these results.

The result of this practice was phenomenal. I began doing it without telling my mind to do so and as a result, I believe I have a wider sense of view around myself. This only means that I have to observe and adapt to all these new opportunities and improve more professionally.

This is only the first jump for success and there are plentiful more to better oneself.
