Last year’s Chesapeake Bay Team — read more about thier visit and projects, here

1. Chesapeake Bay Team Visits D.C.

TU’s Chesapeake Bay team is in town for a visit to Capitol hill. TU staff and landowner partners from Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania will be making the rounds this week to meet with their members in Congress to talk about the great project work that is underway thanks to support from Chesapeake Bay restoration funding. With the recent Budget Blueprint announcing drastic cuts to the Chesapeake Bay programs in FY18, this visit will be a timely opportunity to highlight the value of these programs.

2. Intern Rob heads off to the wilderness.

Man, we are gonna miss this guy. But the stripahs will be glad to see him go.

This is not photo-shopped.

A Moment of Merriment

Feeling a little overwhelmed? Does the news all seem a bit too dire these days? Please allow yourself a moment to consider the following: Thursday, March 23rd National Puppy Day!

In advance of this adorable holiday, please enjoy this “dogs aren’t the only puppies” line-up of cuteness from the U.S. Department of the Interior.

Have a great week everyone!
