Welcome to Day 22 of the #75HardChallenge, a transformative journey of resilience and self-discovery. Today’s adventure was marked by an invigorating run in the rain, a lively dance session, and cherished moments shared with loved ones. As I pushed myself out of bed and embraced the beautiful weather, I experienced a newfound sense of joy and exhilaration. Alongside my physical activities, I continued to prioritize mindful meal planning, delve into the wisdom of “Atomic Habits” by James Clear, and nurture my body with nourishing food choices. Let’s delve into the details of this remarkable day!

Daily Progress Video

1st Workout: Rainy Run and Shared Moments:

Today’s first workout was a captivating 10.04-kilometer run amidst the beauty of rainfall. Despite the initial challenge of leaving the comfort of my bed, I found myself captivated by the allure of the weather. The raindrops dancing on my skin and the refreshing scent of petrichor invigorated my senses, propelling me forward with renewed energy and determination. As I ran, I reveled in the sheer joy of the experience, appreciating the beauty of nature and my ability to embrace the elements. Upon returning home, I shared a delightful cup of chai with my parents, savoring the warmth of the moment and the bond we share.

2nd Workout: Enlivening Dance with Swala:

In my second workout, I immersed myself in the vibrant world of dance. I engaged in a spirited dance session, choreographed to the energetic beats of Swala by One Million Dance Studio. The rhythm and movements not only provided a physical workout but also ignited my spirit and uplifted my mood. The sheer joy and liberation found in dance were a powerful reminder of the incredible ways in which movement can bring us alive.

Nourishing Habits: Mindful Meal Planning and Chole Roti: As a part of my holistic approach to well-being, I continued to prioritize mindful meal planning. Today, I relished a wholesome evening meal consisting of chole (chickpea curry) and roti (Indian bread). This nourishing combination provided a balance of protein, fiber, and essential nutrients, fueling my body for optimal performance and supporting my overall health and well-being.

Continuing the Journey: Insights from “Atomic Habits”: I dedicated time to delve into the pages of “Atomic Habits” by James Clear, furthering my understanding of habit formation. Here is a summary of the next 10 pages I explored and the key lessons I gleaned:

Chapter: The Habit Loop and Cue-Based Habits

In this chapter, Clear discusses the concept of the habit loop, which consists of three elements: cue, routine, and reward. Key takeaways include:

  1. Identifying Cues: By recognizing the triggers that precede our habits, we can gain insight into the patterns and contexts that shape our behaviors.
  2. Intentional Cues: Intentionally designing cues can help establish positive habits and make them more automatic.
  3. Focusing on the Routine: Shifting our attention to the routine itself allows us to build and reinforce the desired habits.

Conclusion:

Day 22 of the #75HardChallenge was a memorable journey of embracing the rain, joyful dancing, and meaningful moments shared with loved ones. The rainy run allowed me to experience the beauty of nature and invigorate my spirit, while the dance session added an element of joy and self-expression. Mindful meal planning and nourishing choices sustained my well-being, with the delightful combination of chole roti satisfying both my taste buds and nutritional needs.

Keep pushing forward and embracing the journey!
