Open Letter To The Global Shyft Community
Dear Shyfters,
Data is everywhere. It is the foundation on which businesses, governments, and our world operate. But the way data is handled, collected and stored poses significant problems across every industry and jurisdiction. It is costly, inefficient, and imperfect. Shyft Network is building a data ecosystem that will change the way data is accessed, validated, and shared. We will be instrumental in improving the access to and efficiency and trustworthiness of data, while setting new privacy and security standards; these are our core values and we stand for them in everything we do. What we are building at Shyft will change the world.
Deploying global networks is hard. There’s only one chance to get it right. And while our technology deliverables are shipped ahead of schedule, we also want to make sure that every other components required to deploy a global network — developer communities, business use cases, and the initial partners who will utilize the network for its intended purposes, — are primed for what we know will be a monumental launch. When we started this ambitious project, we set out to:
- Assemble a strong core development team whose sole focus would be to build the backbone of the platform
- Develop businesses around the network that would hire top quality c-level executives to build the right go-to-market strategy and
- Build the foundation for strong demand across community, government and institutions.
We have left and will leave nothing to chance. There is no room for errors.
Shyft has set out to achieve what has never been done before in our ecosystem, as it looks to bridge the traditional world with regulators and governmental systems, with the emerging cryptocurrency ecosystem and technology. Everything we do and how we choose to do it is critical to the success of the project itself. For this very reason, it means that we have had to sacrifice short-term wins for long-term successes. We made a conscious choice against quick sales strategies, building rampant marketing strategies, or engaging in token sales and models that could ultimately create a false impression that Shyft is just another ICO project.
As we have successfully assembled the best core development team and onboarded a diverse and experienced c-level team, we have now begun our strategy to generate demand by establishing growing and diverse communities, and building brand awareness. Our business development companies that work with Shyft have also started to solidify strategic and targeted top-level prospective partners. The response has been overwhelming, and we find ourselves with more interest than we have ever imagined at this stage.
This week, we proudly announced the launch of our alpha test-net. This milestone is the result of months of collaborative effort, hard work, and sacrifice. We waited until we were ready to come out with something real; competition in this space is fierce, and it’s easy to get lost in the hype. We have established ourselves as a credible and legitimate solution with real partners across governments, regulatory bodies, institutions, and cryptocurrency ecosystem companies; something that very few, if any, other companies can claim today.
We are, of course, incredibly grateful for your support and we will begin to provide communities around the world, like Japan, with even more updates directly from the Shyft teams globally. Thank you for standing next to us in this dynamic and exciting road to success. We will continue to drive excellence in everything we do; this is our promise to those who believe in us and in the incredible potential of this project.
We will not sacrifice quality and experience for speed. We will stop at nothing to ensure that everything that we do at Shyft is for the best of its long term vision, the ecosystems in which it is working within and enabling, and for its communities around the world.
