The technology world as we know is a huge atmosphere that continues to grow at an exponential rate. Every few years, new social media apps are created a become the new “thing”. At the same rate, some apps lose popularity and become “played out”. A question that comes to mind is then what makes this alarming?

Humans are becoming dependent on information to get through their day to day activities.

People begin to be dependent on media outlets for various things such as entertainment, news, politics, and (un)common knowledge. In Floridi’s article, he touched on the idea of the digital nature in human beings growing so much to the point that it will be inherent for humans to access such digital information, “One day, being an inforg will be so natural that any disruption in our normal flow of information will make us sick” (13). This alarming is discovery is surfacing more and causing further questions to be raised within society about the technology world.
