We’re working on getting some really good documentation in place. It’s our goal to make this information accessible and easy to understand, so anyone can come in and pick it up. In the meantime, we’re gathering all that information here in one post. We will update this frequently, so bookmark it, or stay apprised of updates in Discord or Telegram.

Wallet

We have released an initial version of our GUI wallet. It’s very early and we’re still working out some kinks. You should be able to restore from the same seed you had with you Sia-UI wallet. There are lots of known bugs, and we’re hard at work on resolving them.

Download the wallet here.

Once you have the wallet, all you need to do is connect to a node (listed below) that is running SiaClassic.

Nodes

The following nodes will continue to run version 1.3.4 post fork:

New York City
68.183.142.212

Amsterdam
128.199.36.7

San Francisco
104.248.72.199

Toronto
142.93.154.117

London
209.97.187.119

Singapore
178.128.62.53
178.128.102.53
178.128.97.156
178.128.19.204
178.128.52.222

Port: 9981

To connect to these nodes from your Sia-UI wallet, use the following commands:

gateway connect 178.128.62.53:9981

Or on the command line:

siac gateway connect 178.128.62.53:9981

Mining Pools

Here’s the running list of mining pools for SiaClassic:

Block Explorer

We have a very early version of an explorer. We’re working on something better and more in-depth, which should be out soon.

Exchanges

More exchanges will be announced in the coming days and weeks, but we are currently on:

Our ticker is SCA (might still be SCC in some places).

Okay, any questions? Please join us on Telegram or Discord if you need more help, we’re around 24/7 (well, someone will be!).

Here’s a picture of a person walking on a road in the middle of nowhere, because this is Medium and this is what we do here. So many questions. Where are they going? Are they wearing comfortable enough shoes? What does this have to do with blockchain? Remember outside? Photo by Tegan Mierle on Unsplash
