One of the major objections I hear from my friends about starting an online business is that they simply don’t know what to talk about.
Trust me, I get it.
As an example, even if it might bring in the big bucks, I don’t know anyone that’s passionate about what brand of post-apocalyptic prepper food lasts the longest in hermetically sealed drums.
For the average person that’s just getting into selecting a niche, finding something that isn’t going to make you completely hate your life while remaining profitable is a real struggle.

Your 9–5 Work Life Is An Evergreen Niche
Think about it like this:
How many people are in your industry?
Probably millions.
How many of them are facing challenges in their day to day lives that you have probably addressed before?
Again, probably millions.
How grateful do you think they’d be if they have someone who can bring a unique light to their situations, a little bit of humour and the day to day realities of being in your profession?
At least 1.
Even if you don’t have a job, why not talk about the daily reality of being self-employed (or unemployed)?
It’s an endless content farm that’s almost certainly guaranteed to bring in tons of insight to both you and your audience!
You can:
Tweet about your life.
Write about how you balance your work with your familial responsibilities.
Post IG pictures and youtube videos about your work.
Talk about 1000 different aspects of being you, in a way that nobody else on this planet can.
If you’re still thinking about a business to start, I strongly, strongly recommend trying this out. You’re virtually guaranteed to succeed, with enough perseverance.
