1/ You only write to earn money
You’ve seen people like me talk about making a living writing, and that’s the only reason you do it.
This is a recipe for unhappiness.
You see, at least in our Indian society, people have always picked professions like engineering because they were told this is the only way to a secure and high-paying career — a picture of a happy life.
Most of my writing students are engineers and aren’t exactly happy with their jobs.
Do you see the pattern?
Happy engineers are those who are obsessive about fixing problems.
