Want To Start Writing in 2025? Do This.
Thank yourself 12 months later.
It’s February and we’re still discussing what you should do if you want to START your journey. You know why is that?
Because you can still start, and it doesn’t matter
- how old you are
- what your industry is
- how scared you are of judgement
What matters is that you… start.
When I started writing online, I knew I wanted to make something of it because I saw so many writers who are making a living by doing what they love.
And the reason I was able to do that was because I started, and stayed at it.
1/ Pick a Platform
Choose ONE platform. I know you’re busy with your job and/or other responsibilities so don’t stretch yourself too thin.
I’d recommend:
- LinkedIn: for building a personal brand and getting opportunities
- Substack: for writing long-form posts
The latter is also for those who want to be on Medium.
I’d say copy-paste your Substack posts and put them on Medium because Substack has a community factor, and engagement, and is what Twitter was in 2021 :)
