2 things I love / 4 things I hate about the new Medium Partner Program

If you’ve followed my work here for any amount of time, you know I’m a huge fan of the Medium platform.

Under the previous Medium Partner Program, independent writers had a legitimate opportunity to earn a living from their work.

In fact, back in the spring — in just my eighth month on the platform — I earned what was arguably a full-time income just from writing about things that interested me.

However, the new Medium Partner Program really changed the game — and not in the best way for long-time, high-output writers like myself.

Yes, there are things I like about the new MPP too, but there are also some drawbacks.

Since I know a lot of you follow me for guidance on writing here, I thought I’d throw together a quick, honest review video of the MPP changes.
