Top Web3 Leaders Gather to Discuss Future of Blockchain at Animoca Ventures ‘Reports from the Future’ Event in Dubai
On February 8, Digital Dubai hosted a large industry event run by Animoca Ventures called the “Reports from the Future” workshop where Sidus Heroes was one of the guests of honor. The metaverse gaming company held an after-party in the VAGA space following the event. Guests took part in the Sidus Heroes gaming tournament with a drawing for valuable NFT prizes.
A Closed Event for Industry Leaders
“Reports from the Future” was a closed networking event for Animoca Ventures partners. The companies were able to present their projects and discuss market trends with potential investors and industry professionals. Guests were able to communicate both during panel discussions and in a more relaxed atmosphere between presentations.
Other guests of the event included:
- Venture capital funds.
- Institutional investors.
- Government representatives.
Sidus Heroes was invited to attend the event together with Polygon, LayerZero, SupraOracle, Xterio, and BRINC.
The Sidus Heroes team presented their vision of the biggest trends and insights of the GameFi and Metaverse sector. Guests learned how Sidus Heroes is changing the entire GameFi sector and debunking the myth that the industry is a bubble. SIDUS Gates CEO, Roman Povolotskii shared the successes of the project and talked in detail about the unique module economy of the metaverse, his game publisher Sidus Gates, and the future of the entire project.

There should be more of these kinds of events,” said Povoloskii. “After all, it is the format of closed networking that allows industry professionals to openly exchange opinions and insights about the future of Web3 and together look for ways to solve emerging problems. Sidus Heroes After-Party & Tournament
At the end of the event, guests were invited to a joint Animoca Ventures & SIDUS HEROES after-party which took place in the VAGA space.. At the party, guests were welcome to take pictures in the branded photo zones, receive SWAG, and most importantly, take part in a unique closed game tournament where the Sidus team awarded valuable in-game NFTs!
A Legendary Tournament
The highlight of the after-party was the Xenna RTS gaming tournament for guests. The tournament was first held at the Xenna game launch, and since then became a metaverse landmark event with valuable prizes.
Groups of 10 people were randomly selected through their business cards for the tournament! The game was intuitive, lasted only 6 minutes, and guests were aided by assistants from the Sidus Heroes team to help people understand the rules and build their first strategies!
Xenna became the second game of Sidus’s metaverse, and was instantly popular. The player’s task is to be the last survivor. Xenna is integrated into the SIDUS HEROES ecosystem through the NFT production chain with which players can extract facilitated oil: a valuable resource for the entire metaverse.
