Everything You Need to Know About Traveling in a Space Shuttle

The SIDUS HEROES team has received a lot of questions regarding our plans for developing the Space Shuttle feature. We understand that you want to know all the details so you can make up your minds about purchasing a Space Shuttle, especially considering the price for one Shuttle. In this post, we address some of your queries and share our plans and ideas about SIDUS Space Shuttles.
A Space Shuttle is a specialized spaceship that provides passenger transportation across the SIDUS universe. Space Shuttles are robotic vehicles that fly without the pilot having direct manual control. That’s why they don’t require special driving skills, as opposed to warships. This type of vehicle is only allowed to explore some parts of the universe: neutral planets, orbital stations and of course, SIDUS Central Station.
At the beginning of the game, you will see 6 planets, each with unique climates, flora, fauna and resources. The rarity of the Space Shuttle (there are 6 rarity levels, learn more in our previous post) determines which sector of the universe and which planets Heroes can visit. Regardless of your Space Shuttle’s rarity, you will have a transport facility that you can use yourself or rent out and receive passive income. Space Shuttles don’t require players to purchase fuel but you should know that once in a while, every shuttle will break down and you will need to repair it. To repair your Space Shuttle, your Hero or a hired Hero will have to spend time or pay shipyard repairmen in SIDUS tokens.
Monsters and Bosses
Every planet’s biosphere is aggressive and Heroes will only have 15 minutes to mine resources and get back to the Shuttle. You must maximize this time. During these 15 minutes, Heroes will constantly be attacked by monsters. As you spend more time on this activity, the attacks will get more aggressive and devastating. Heroes will have to go through all of them to mine resources and get back home safely. If a team manages to survive the attacks, it will receive a huge reward. The more Heroes you have left in the team after the 15 minutes is up, the bigger the reward becomes. However, even if you die trying, you will still receive trophies.
Every 10th wave, you will run into a super boss. If you successfully complete this challenge, you will receive a special reward.
Your Team is Your Key to Success
Visiting more and more planets, you will notice that Heroes of different races have different strengths and weaknesses on different planets, so the key is to find the perfect combination of Heroes for each planet. Sometimes, that means taking 3 Raptorians on a mission, other times you’ll need 3 Voltrones or 2 Ogya and 1 Raptorian. You must solve the clues on neutral planets that will help you decide what Heroes to use if you want to get the biggest reward.
Knowledge is Everything
Players who solve all the clues will become SIDUS demiurges who pave the way for other players. The reward for Heroes who assume this role will match their importance. They will receive exclusive weapons, armor, pets, Space Shuttle equipment, building materials and resources. All of these await players who get to the end first.
